Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

The short version: TackleIt apps are offline-first. Your documents and files are processed entirely on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We do not run analytics or tracking, and we do not sell your data.

1. Who is the data controller

[LEGAL ENTITY], a sole proprietorship registered in Poland, [ADDRESS], tax ID (NIP) [NIP], is the controller of personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@tackleit.app.

2. Your files never leave your device

The core promise of TackleIt is that all document processing - editing, OCR, redaction, encryption, merging and export - happens locally on your computer. We have no servers that receive, store or see your files. You do not need an account to use the apps.

3. What we do (and do not) collect

4. Why we process this data (legal bases)

Under the GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract (issuing and supporting your license); our legitimate interests (securing and operating the Site, answering support requests); and, where required, your consent. Paddle acts as an independent controller for the payment relationship.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate: Paddle (payments/invoicing) and Cloudflare (hosting). Each acts under its own terms and applicable data protection agreements.

6. International transfers

Some providers (such as Paddle and Cloudflare) may process data outside Poland or the EEA. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to provide support and to meet legal and tax obligations. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@tackleit.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).

9. Children

The apps are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the "Last updated" date above.
